Brianna & Luke’s celebrated their wedding at Cherokee Country Club, but, their story did not begin there.

Luke and Brianna’s Story

Luke and Brianna met on their very first day attending Virginia Tech. By being enrolled in the same computer engineering class, the time they spent together began to grow so much. By the time freshman year finished, they had become best friends. That summer at a local event called “Hillbilly Holiday”, Luke began to think of Brianna as more than just friends. Two months later, and after plenty of rejections, they went on their first date, fishing. Little did Luke know that he was about to reel in the biggest catch of his life.

Then, if we fast-forward ahead 2 years to January 2016. Luke and Brianna began to look for apartments in Raleigh. Luke made plans to go to the beach in South Carolina with Brianna. He knew it was her favorite place in the world and wanted it to be where he proposes, so he booked a hotel overlooking the beach. While in Raleigh, Luke rehearsed what his proposal would be on the beach, however, after the second day of reviewing apartments, he was so excited that he couldn’t wait any longer.

After a romantic dinner date in downtown Raleigh, Luke knew it was a perfect time. He and Brianna went for a walk. They came to a beautiful park. Luke got down on one knee. Brianna’s eyes erupted with tears, as she said “YES!”

We had an absolute blast with Brianna and Luke at their wedding. Their family was super welcoming and accommodating. This allowed us to create some stunning images and memories for their special day. The venue was gorgeous and provided us with plenty of photographic opportunities!
